Jaimie and Steven’s Wedding Day blog post has been a long time coming. I don’t typically experience writer’s block but when the couple is as genuine, fun, and loving as Jaimie and Steven are, I’m speechless! The words exist in my head but putting them down on “paper” seems impossible. But I’ll try!
The day Jaimie and Steven said “I Do” was a picture perfect spring day in Chicago. And if you live in the area, you know we don’t get that too often! From the moment I woke up that March morning, I knew the day was going to be special. Jaimie and Steven have so much love and admiration for each other, and that is equally matched from their families and closest friends. All of the love – and sun! – shined through their entire wedding day.
From the moment I met Jaimie and Steven, I knew we were going to be lifelong friends and that I’d love working with them. And I am so humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to make their wedding-day vision a reality, along with their amazing vendor team.
During our first conversation together, I asked them their top three priorities for their wedding day. This was their response:
- Fun, candid photos
- Good music with the band and a packed dance floor
- Amazing memories with their friends and family
And one of Jaimie’s priorities, as far as her wedding day “vision”, was lots of whites, creams, fresh-cut stems to invoke a feeling of effortless elegance.
I think I can safely say that all of these needs were met and more! Cheers to Jaimie and Steven!
